2001 - 2011

In 2002, Killererin made an early exit from the County Championship, controversially for the nonplaying of extra time against An Cearthrú Rua. In 2003, Killererin were back in the County Final, albeit well beaten at the final whistle by Caltra, who
went on to win the All Ireland Club Championship. The team regrouped in 2004 following the devastating defeat of the previous year and under the new team management of Billy Joyce, went on to win their fourth Senior County Championship by beating Salthill/Knocknacarra 1-10 to 0-10. In 2007, under the management of Stephen Flaherty, Killererin won it's fifth senior Championship Title, when they defeated Milltown in the County Final. Also in 2007, Killererin won it's first ever U21 A County Championship Title when they beat Clonbur in the County Final under the management of John Hughes, Murt Dunleavy and Padraic Joyce.

In 2010 Killererin won it's sixth senior championship title when they defeated
Corofin in the county final. 1-10 to 1-7 under the management of Tommie Joyce,
Stephen Flaherty and Murt Dunleavy. They faced St Brigid's of Roscommon in the
Connacht club final but were cruelly beaten in extra time.
